Event Promotion

In this project, we were asked to choose an event located in San Diego and create a poster, flyer, and a ticket; all within the same theme and branding. I chose Emo Nite, an event that takes place every night in different clubs around the US. I wanted to capture the essence of emo and how it was portrayed in the 90's and 2000's.
For my design I chose to go with a classic composition book with drawings and stickers plastered all over. I didn't want them to be too overwhelming so I made them simple and small. The main focus for us was getting the information clearly out while also creating a unique design that would capture the viewers eyes. Staying on brand with Emo Nite's posters but also adding my own elements to create the classic "emo notebook".
